The Mature Lifestyle, Travel & Health Show is the preeminent consumer event targeted to the 50 plus segment in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Established in 1991, it has grown in popularity and size along with the very market it targets. Reach over 10,000 mature Canadians over a full day in a dynamic environment! Held every fall at the Ottawa Congress Centre, the show features 100 exhibitors from the consumer products and services, travel, finance, housing and leisure industries. In addition, demonstrations, seminars and top-notch stage entertainment make this show an anticipated yearly event. Our 2007 show took place Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Wayne Rostad, the well-loved host of CBC-TV's On the Road Again gave a lively performance twice on the main stage. As well as there were performances by Mary Cook, Ottawa Valley author, and the ever-popular Irish-Canadian singer Robin Averill. Free admission was sponsored by Paramed Home Health Care Services and Extendicare Long Term Care Homes. Once again this year free shuttle buses provided by Gray Line Ottawa ran continuously from Lynx Stadium. The first 200 attendees were entered for a chance to win 2 tickets to an Ottawa Senators Home game or Fall Foliage tour tickets.
